What Did the Staff Think?

"What a genius idea! The Online Panto was the perfect way for our children to enjoy a theatre experience during the current restrictions.

The Robin Hood show was highly entertaining and the production was of an excellent standard.  Children and teachers loved the contemporary references and it was suitable for all age ranges.  I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to see their next production."

"You've done it again - wowed us with a wonderful and energetic performance!  It was an excellent way to finish off our year, with relevant and up to date crazes referred to, and modern music to get us singing along.  It was a very clever and amusing storyline that all children could relate to, and it had every child and member of staff walking away smiling and singing.  We cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next year."

"Takeaway Theatre came back to our school in December to perform their hilarious version of The Wizard of Oz. A wonderful afternoon was had by all the children and staff. The children, from Reception to Year 6, particularly enjoyed participating in the interactive aspects of the performance, and left the school hall at the end of the afternoon with beaming smiles on their faces. We are looking forward to next year's pantomime performance!"

"A massive thank you for your online panto which the children have watched and thoroughly enjoyed! The bingo cards were a great way of keeping them engaged all the way through.

Thank you for being innovative at such a tricky time for everyone in live theatre - The Shows MUST go on!"

How Are You?

"The students at GEMS Wellington International School thoroughly enjoyed the performance of ‘How Are You’ and were talking about the production long after the performance. It was engaging and thought-provoking. It gave teachers a good starting point for meaningful conversations about mental health and well-being."

"The performance of ‘How are You?’ came as part of our Wellbeing Week and both our students and staff found it incredibly engaging. The content was easily relatable to the lives of our students and, therefore, had direct relevance to them. There was a very clear and powerful message throughout and we are extremely indebted to the cast for helping us to frame an open and transparent dialogue with our students around mental health."

What Did the Pupils Think?

It was really funny. The songs were great and the costumes were good and the script was fantastic.  5 stars.

I think that there was an excellent choice of songs.  It was very funny.  There were some very funny jokes.  It was very entertaining.

I thought it was really good and I couldn’t see any mistakes.  There were amazing jokes.  Some of the jokes were cheesy but that’s what makes it special.  I liked that they had modern songs!

Singing and acting was great and the best one I’ve seen so far.  I thought that this show was the best panto I’ve seen in a long time, from the jokes to the songs.  It was very good
